In this position you will have the opportunity to use your extensive knowledge and expertise to help us develop, implement and maintain an innovative and strategic approach to Diagnostic Imaging practices that will meet the current and future needs of Lakeridge Health. You will play a key role in providing high quality leadership support to the Diagnostic Imaging Team, Physician and Client groups to achieve our vision and the objectives of Lakeridge Health's strategic direction.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Manager Diagnostic Imaging reports to the Director, Diagnostic Imaging Program. This position is responsible for the management of daily operations and services of Diagnostic Imaging. While working collaboratively with the Director and all members of the health care team, the successful incumbent will use their effective planning, budgeting and problem solving skills, to ensure: the development of departmental processes; the management of staff; and to support business goals including operational efficiencies and optimize interdisciplinary team functioning. As well, will facilitate and support the implementation of evidence based practice to achieve excellence in high quality delivery of patient care.The Diagnostic Imaging Manager will have a personal drive and the need to achieve results by working to accomplish DI outcomes and setting goals and priorities that maximize the use of resources and have the ability to inspire others to work toward a common goal by engaging and empowering staff.QUALIFICATIONS:* Bachelor degree in a health related field, Business Administration or Health Administration; * Master's degree or current enrollment in a Master's program (preferred);* Current registration in good standing with a health care regulatory college; * Significant related leadership or management experience, preferably in a multi-site, Diagnostic Imaging healthcare environment; advanced clinical and administrative skills;* A keen interest and recent Lean management, process re-engineering, planning and implementing experience;* Demonstrated history of infusing quality metrics into clinical, evidence based practice * Proven track record of achieving results that improve the organization and inspire confidence, commitment while providing excellence in the patient and/or client experience; * Demonstrated ability to lead effectively and create a high performance culture through change management strategies that facilitates growth and development; * Demonstrated knowledge of hospital functions and current trends in health care; * Proven knowledge of and ability to work with Collective Agreements and Labour Relations issues; * Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and related best practice guidelines;* Demonstrated ability to build, align, retain, and lead high performance teams in providing patient/family-centric healthcare* Experience in collaborating within a multi-disciplinary, diverse and dynamic team with a proven ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to create a results-driven, team oriented environment; * Proven management skills including financial, human resources, quality improvement, project planning and risk, change management, marketing management, evaluation and utilization management skills;* Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and solution-focused conflict management/resolution skills;* Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills;* Must have a satisfactory performance record;* Demonstrated an understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff safety, patient safety and environmental safety and participates in regular in-service education sessions;* Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy; and,* Proven good attendance record with capability of maintaining the same standard.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with Lakeridge Health's policies and procedures.Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the recruitment and assessment process in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) .
