Actively participating in team conferences and regular team meetings. Other related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:* BSc. in Occupational Therapy or equivalent;* Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario;* Certified/licenced to practice in Ontario;* Previous experience working with patients with orthopaedic, geriatric disorders is preferred;* Effective verbal and written communication skills;* Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills;* Proven good attendance record with capability of maintaining this same standard;* Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team;* Ability to exercise initiative and observe strict confidentiality;* Membership in CAOT, OSOT;* Previous experience in an inpatient rehabilitation care setting is preferred; * ADP authorization for Mobility/seating/wheelchair and splinting experience is preferred;* Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy;* Must have satisfactory performance record;* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff, patient and environmental safety and participation in regular in-service in this area; and* Proven good attendance record with capability of maintaining the same standard.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Hospital and OPSEU Local 348.Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the recruitment and assessment process in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
