Non-UnionLAKERIDGE HEALTHHELP DESK ANALYSTINFORMATION TECHNOLOGYCASUAL PART TIMEDay/Evening/Weekends/On-call schedule; 4 & 8 hour shifts (subject to change)Lakeridge Health OshawaUNEX-1900002794This position is open to all qualified staff throughout Lakeridge Health commencing December 23, 2019 and closing at 11:59 pm on January 2, 2020.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology (IT) Service Desk and IT Service Desk Administrator, the IT Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing first level incident and problem management supporting the computer User population. This includes the following users but not limited to; incident/problem tracking; first level problem determination/resolution, educating users, user access requests, daily operations checklist, solving hardware/software problems, interpreting operating instructions, call/ticket escalation as required and remote or in person support.QUALIFICATIONS:* Degree in computer related field or equivalent education and related experience performing service desk functions;* Proven proficiency with Microsoft Windows 7 and 8 operating systems as well as Microsoft server platforms; * Firm knowledge of the Microsoft office Suite and standard Microsoft applications (ie. Internet Explorer), VM-ware, VCenter operations and management;* Demonstrated experience with installation and troubleshooting of Anti-virus software and various workstation software;* Demonstrated understanding of basic networking concepts including routing and switching, DHCP, DNS and WINS protocols;* Knowledge of Meditech Magic and Client Server platforms an asset;* Knowledge of software tools to assist in remote support and troubleshooting of technical issues (ie.
