Non-UnionNon-UnionLAKERIDGE HEALTHAPPLICATIONS CONSULTANT- O365 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGYREGULAR FULL-TIMEWage Schedule: $39.336- $44.185 Per HourLakeridge Health; Primary location is Champlain, however will be required to work at other Lakeridge Health sites)UN.EX.- 1900002376DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Applications consultant is responsible for coordinating, implementation and providing ongoing support and regular updates of computerized application systems.The Application Consultant provides a key role in identifying opportunities for improvement related to the use and management of administrative, financial and clinical systems. The Application Consultant works collaboratively with other key stakeholders to gather clinical and business needs, perform workflow analysis, process design, testing, ongoing support, training and general maintenance of applications The Application Consultant also helps to align the clinical, administrative & financial systems with the organizational objectives and strategies and provides recommendations regarding the potential use of various information systems. QUALIFICATIONS:* University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related field * 3-5 year's proven extensive knowledge of computer system applications* Demonstrated understanding of SharePoint, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365 out of the box functionality. * Understanding of Office 365 administrative tools and security settings and best practices* Familiarity with PowerShell * Ability to speak to the capabilities and limitations of Office 365 with clients * Ability to facilitate and lead customer requirements-gathering sessions* Ability to analyze, define, and document requirements for business processes and workflows, including generating diagrams* Experience with iterative systems development life-cycle and documentation* Experience leading demonstrations of prototypes and solutions to end users* Clear communication, writing, and presentation skills* MCSE/MCSA Certification preferred* Experience with private and public Cloud infrastructure including Azure considered an asset* Experience with systems for requirements tracking and user story management preferred * Experience supporting system migrations and upgrades, and experience with solution design or solution architecture preferred * Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff, patient and environmental safety with participation in regular in-service education;* Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy;* Must provide a positive Canadian Police Information Centre Criminal Record Synopsis ("CPIC check"); and * Proven good attendance record with capability of maintaining this same standard.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:This position is open to all qualified staff throughout Lakeridge Health.The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with Lakeridge Health's policies and procedures.Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the recruitment and assessment process as required under Lakeridge Health's Employment Accommodation policy.
