You will also support the Regional Director of Ontario Renal Network (ORN), Central East Renal Program, for work with the ORN, throughout the Central East Local Health Integration Network (Central East LHIN), during the secondment of the Regional Director. Responsibilities will include: managing the schedules of the Director; Regional Director for ORN activity; Patient Care Managers, Clinical Practice Leaders, and Clinical Quality/Strategy and Research Lead; preparing, formatting and reviewing complex documents, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence; managing data bases; coordinating meetings, retreats and workshops, preparing agendas and meeting packages, taking and transcribing meeting minutes; handling a wide variety of inquiries via telephone and/or email; and ensuring deadlines are consistently met. Some travel will be required to support the program across multiple sites.In support of the Regional Director for the ORN (Cancer Care Ontario), you will also work with the staff and leaders of the ORN and the two other Regional Nephrology Programs, Scarborough Rouge Hospital, Peterborough Regional Health Centre along with the Central East LHIN and Long Term Care Homes. You will be coordinating multiple meetings internally and externally, supporting Regional meetings for minute taking, document preparation, and support. You will be proficient in public and interdepartmental communications and promote and maintain a positive customer service approach as the first point of contact for all levels of management and staff, the general public, and the Ontario Renal Network. QUALIFICATIONS: * Graduate of an Executive Office Administration Diploma program or significant and advanced related experience, preferably in a healthcare environment;* Highly developed proficiency and demonstrated competence of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint (tested);* Superior keyboarding skills (tested);* Outstanding attention to detail and results orientated; * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;* Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team;* Proficiency transcribing and composing minutes with the ability to write clear, concise, and accurate minutes;* Proven ability to assess inquiries/problems and to exercise good judgement in responding to and/or referring the inquiry to a more appropriate individual;* Proven adherence to strict confidentiality;* Demonstrated excellence in effectively organizing and prioritizing work assignments in a fast-pace office environment and meeting short timelines;* Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner; * Ability to collate information and perform internet research;* Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Compassion, Innovation, Courage and Trust* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices, including staff safety, patient safety, environmental safety and participates in regular in-service education in this area; and* Proven good attendance with the ability to maintain this same standard.Salary: $25.656 - $30.005 per hour CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:This position is open to all qualified staff throughout Lakeridge Health.The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with Lakeridge Health's policies and procedures.Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the recruitment and assessment process as required under Lakeridge Health's Employment Accommodation policy.
