Tests are administered at the start, during and at the end of treatment to determine improvement and to provide clinical outcome data to the program. The Psychometrist enters the scores into a database and will compile results as required by the program manager. The role of the Psychometrist also includes telephone intake screening of new referrals to the Mental Health program. The Psychometrist performs his/her duties under the supervision of a psychologist.* Collecting clinical data, entering it into a database and other administrative duties as required.* Schedule, administer, and score psychological assessments for patients and their families. * Generate summaries and scores of psychometric results, enter results into the study database, and provide feedback to the assessing psychologist/psychiatrist and the inter-disciplinary research team. * Generate summaries and scores of psychometric results, enter results into the study database, and provide feedback to the assessing psychologist/psychiatrist and the inter-disciplinary research team. * Attends supervision sessions with the psychologist on a biweekly basis or as needed.* Communicates screening information with the clinical team at team meetingsQUALIFICATIONS:* Master's degree in Psychology* Demonstrated training and experience in the administration and scoring of psychometric measures;* Program evaluation duties including data entry, managing psychological database;* Completed courses related to psychological assessment and psychopathology;* Demonstrated ability in assessment and interviewing of adolescents and adults;* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;* Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills;* High attention to detail;* Demonstrated ability to utilize critical thinking, trouble shooting and problem solving skills; * Ability to work independently and collaboratively with members of the clinical team;* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;* Recent related experience in a mental health, hospital setting;* Knowledge of child and adolescent psychosocial development and psychopathology;* Ability to flexibly respond to continually changing program demands.SALARY: $40.066 - $44.631 per hourCONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:This position is open to all qualified staff throughout Lakeridge Health.The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with Lakeridge Health's policies and procedures.Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the recruitment and assessment process as required under Lakeridge Health's Employment Accommodation policy.
