Non-UnionNon-UnionLAKERIDGE HEALTHPosition: Project Manager/Strategy Management ConsultantProgram: Corporate Strategy, Risk Management & TransformationStatus: Temporary Full Time - 10 monthsShifts: 8 hour days with some evening workLocation: Lakeridge Health Whitby (will travel to other sites as necessary)Salary: $42.88 - $47.72 per hourFile #: UN.EX-1500000564POSITION SUMMARY:Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategy, Risk and Transformation, the project Manager/Strategy Management Consultant will play a lead role in supporting the planning for implementation of Unit Dose, Anaesthetic gas machines and Patient Monitors across the organization. The Consultant will also work as part of the strategy team to support the strategic plan development and implementation and annual goal setting and roll-out process.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:" Provide coordination and project management support for the roll out of new Anaesthetic Gas Machines, Patient Monitors and our automated medication dispensing system (Unit Dose) across the organization." Provide project tools and resources that aid in the development of Project Management capacity and skills amongst the leadership team;" Develop regular project status reports for assigned Project Sponsors;" Participate as part of the strategy consultant team in the planning and development of the annual goals and objectives setting process, and associated Balanced Scorecard and Program Scorecards;" Provide insight to senior leadership into the impact of environmental changes on decision making, strategic plans and activities;" Conduct and facilitate planning sessions to support the development of the strategic plan, corporate goals, and program/department goals;" Develop criteria and advise senior leadership on corporate and strategic project selection;" Support project teams in the management, monitoring and reporting of strategic initiatives; and" Communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization regarding the status and achievements relative to the strategic plan and corporate strategic initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS:" Undergraduate, Master's degree or recognized equivalent in Health Care or Business Administration (preferred disciplines);" Demonstrated recent project management experience and/or continuous improvement experience in a heath care service environment;" Experience managing and executing complex strategic projects from pre-planning to implementation, including financial oversight (budget development and tracking of expenses)" Demonstrated superior ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships and to deal effectively with a wide range of diverse internal and external stakeholders " Highly collaborative, teamwork-oriented work style, as well as the ability to work independently with little direction; " Exceptional problem-solving, facilitation and negotiation skills; " Demonstrated outstanding attention to detail;" Exceptional communication and presentation skills;" Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work;" Highly developed proficiency and demonstrated competence with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint;" Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices, including staff safety, patient safety, environmental safety and participates in regular in-service education in this area; and" Proven good attendance with the capability of maintaining the same standard.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:This position is open to all qualified staff throughout Lakeridge Health.The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with Lakeridge Health's policies and procedures.Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the recruitment and assessment process as required under Lakeridge Health's Employment Accommodation policy.
