DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

Reporting to the Manager, Employee and Labour Relations, the Attendance Support Associate plays a key role in supporting the administration of the organization's Attendance Support Program (ASP). Working closely with Strategic Human Resources Business Partners and the Occupational Health and Abilities team, this role supports consistent program application, data integrity, and leader engagement related to the ASP.

The Attendance Support Associate is responsible for maintaining attendance tracking tools, generating reports, preparing program correspondence, and supporting leaders with employee movement through the program. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

" Administer and maintain Attendance Support Program (ASP) tracking tools and processes
" Identify employees for ASP enrollment based on established criteria
" Draft program correspondence, including enrollment, status update, and exit letters
" Notify and support leaders with employee movement through the program (enrollment, monitoring, and exit)
" Respond to general inquiries from leaders and staff regarding the ASP, processes, and employee status updates
" Accurately enter and maintain employee data within the HRIS system (e.g., Virtuo HR)
" Prepare reports and trend analyses to support Strategic Human Resources Business Partners and Leaders in identifying risks and opportunities
" Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with policies, collective agreements, and applicable legislation
" Provide administrative and coordination support to enhance program effectiveness and consistency

QUALIFICATIONS:

" Post-secondary education in Office Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
" 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role (healthcare or unionized environment considered an asset)
" Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
" Experience with reporting and data analysis tools, HRIS systems (e.g., Virtuo HR), and Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies is considered an asset.
" Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
" High attention to detail and accuracy in data management
" Strong customer service orientation with the ability to support leaders and staff effectively
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills
" Demonstrated initiative and strong critical thinking skills
" Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
" Must have satisfactory performance record;
" Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy;
" Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff, patient and environmental safety and participation in regular in-services in this area; and;
" Proven good attendance record with capability of maintaining this same standard;
