Wage Schedule: $42.240 - $53.280 per hour

This position is open to all qualified OPSEU staff throughout Lakeridge Health commencing 2 June 2026 and closing at 11:59 pm on 9 June 2026.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, and in conjunction with the Charge Technologist the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementation and evaluating patient care, quality, education and professional practice activities in a multidisciplinary family centered care environment. The Senior CT Technologist will function as the modality site lead assuming responsibility for the complete range of tests and procedures related to CT and Interventional Radiology (IR-CT) exams and support the department as a subject matter expert to resolve clinical, technical, education and/or operational concerns related to CT practice. Additionally, the Senior CT Technologist will be responsible for coordinating equipment maintenance, staff scheduling, Radiation Safety, staff and student education/mentorship, supplies ordering, quality improvement projects and other duties as relevant or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Current registration with the C.M.R.I.T.O.
* Minimum 3 years' recent experience as a Medical Technologist (Radiography), preferred.
* Demonstrated recent CT experience including CT non-contrast/contrast, interventional CT guided procedures, CT cardiac, CT colonography and CT stroke/perfusion, required.
* Demonstrated recent leadership experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent, required.
* Thorough recent knowledge of the theory and practices of procedures, equipment and special techniques related to CT, required.
* Evidence of sound organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to work well in stressful situations.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, conflict management and documentation skills with the ability to work well with patients, families, all levels of staff and the community.
* Able to function effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.
* Ability to work well independently and to exercise sound judgement.
* Ability to lead quality improvement/change initiatives, education and sustainability projects to further the organizational strategic agenda.
* Ability to perform the essential duties of the position.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications;
* Must have excellent performance record;
