This role contributes to advancing a health system that actively confronts structural inequities and builds conditions for dignity, belonging, and equitable care for all.The Manager, Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Anti-Racism will play a key leadership role in guiding the development, implementation, and evaluation of the hospital's IDEAA multi-year action plan. This role advances approaches that emphasize collective responsibility, truth-telling, and the examination of structural inequities, while recognizing the psychological and social impacts of exclusion within institutions. Through this lens, the role supports the organization in translating its equity commitments into meaningful and measurable organizational transformation.Working closely with the Director and in partnership with leaders across the hospital, the Manager will collaborate with internal teams and community partners to embed IDEAA principles into quality improvement, recruitment and hiring practices, onboarding, leadership development, learning strategies, policies, and everyday operational decisions.Through strategic leadership and relationship-building, this role will help foster a culture of respect, accountability, accessibility, and anti-racism, ensuring that Lakeridge Health advances equitable outcomes for team members, physicians, patients, families, and care partners.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES" Lead the implementation and ongoing refinement of the IDEAA multi-year action plan, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and measurable equity outcomes." Facilitate courageous and constructive dialogue on complex issues related to racism, discrimination, power, and equity within healthcare environments." Provide expert coaching, facilitation, and advisory support to leaders and teams to strengthen their capacity to lead inclusively and respond to equity-related challenges." Design and support the implementation of an enterprise-wide IDEAA learning and leadership development strategy." Collaborate with partners across Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, Patient Experience, Spiritual Care, and clinical programs to strengthen inclusive organizational culture and address barriers to belonging and psychological safety." Advise on the development and integration of equitable policies, standards, and organizational practices that promote fairness, transparency, and accountability." Use organizational assessments, data tools, and surveys to understand workplace culture and equity trends, and recommend strategies that support meaningful change." Maintain awareness of emerging social, political, and community issues affecting equity-seeking populations and integrate these insights into organizational strategy and practice." Build and sustain trusted relationships with community organizations, equity networks, and advisory groups to ensure community voices inform system improvement." Promote a workplace culture grounded in respect, wellbeing, and shared responsibility for equity and inclusion." Lead and support the development of team members, providing mentorship, coaching, and clear direction on strategic priorities and initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS" Bachelor's Degree in Equity Studies, Social Work, Law, Sociology, Education, or a related field required; Master's Degree considered an asset. Equivalent combinations of education and demonstrable lived and professional experience advancing equity and social justice will also be considered." Demonstrated leadership grounded in integrity, reflective practice, and strong values alignment, with a commitment to advancing equity, anti-racism, and inclusion." High degree of emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, empathy, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex and sensitive conversations with care and professionalism." Strong understanding of power dynamics, structural inequities, and the ways systems can reproduce exclusion, with the ability to translate this awareness into practical organizational change." Demonstrated experience in leadership coaching, facilitation, mediation, and conflict resolution, particularly in environments involving complex interpersonal or organizational dynamics."
