Johns Studentship in Medical Physics, to be taken in the summer of 2026 at the Durham Regional Cancer Centre. The aim is to encourage entry into the field of medical physics in Oncology. There is one student placement opportunity available for the Durham Regional Cancer Centre located at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.On completion, the successful incumbent will be required to submit a scientific report (up to approximately five pages plus figures) outlining his/her studentship experience to the Coordinator Medical Physic Education Programs, Division of Education, Cancer Care Ontario.QUALIFICATIONS:*Undergraduate in physics or related disciplines in a recognized university program or recent graduates enrolled or applying to a graduate physics/biophysics program;*Awarded on the basis of academic achievement and demonstrated interest in the field of medical physics as a future career;*Must not have held this studentship previously;*Must have a satisfactory performance record;* Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy;*Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff, patient and environmental safety and participating in regular in-services in this area; At Lakeridge Health, we value inclusion and diversity.
