CUPEJob Title: Timecard Clerk (x2)Status: Temporary Full Time (~6 months)Department: Central Staffing OfficeProgram: Patient Care Support Services8 Hour Shifts - Days (Subject to Change)Location: Lakeridge Health Corporate OfficeWage Schedule: $33.380 - $35.250 per hourPosting Reference: 2400003851 & 2400003852This position is open to all qualified CUPE staff throughout Lakeridge Health commencing 10 December 2024 and closing at 11:59 pm on 17 December 2024.Position Summary:The Timecard Clerk for Lakeridge Health will play a critical role in supporting the organization's new scheduling and time and attendance system with a focus on inputting pay correction entries in the scheduling and time and attendance system (UKG Dimensions), and identify errors in support of accurate and timely pay This individual will work closely with Payroll and Information Technology teams regarding system troubleshooting and process alignment, and support operational leaders as a subject matter expert regarding the pay coding correction process. Duties and Responsibilities:" Responsible for reviewing and maintaining pay coding correction forms and ensuring timely data entry into the organization's scheduling and time and attendance system" Work closely with operational leaders and staff to clarify pay coding correction requests as needed" Monitor and maintain the pay coding correction inbox and ensure requests are resolved" Collaborate and train department leaders to provide pay coding correction support, troubleshoot any errors or issues that may arise, and resolve problems efficiently to minimize pay disruptions" Ensure accurate and seamless data entry, addressing discrepancies and ensuring system accuracy" Participate in projects and system configuration testing as needed. " Exercise discretion and sound judgement" Additional duties as assigned Qualifications:" Degree or a Diploma in business, administration or related preferred" Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in staffing and scheduling, ideally within a healthcare or multi-site organization." Experience with scheduling systems (e.g., TAP, UKG Dimensions, Kronos, or similar)." Experience with data entry with keen attention to detail " Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions" Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with various stakeholders across departments" Knowledge of applicable labour laws, collective agreements, and healthcare regulations is an asset." Proficiency in system reporting and analytics tools" Roles and responsibilities subject to change based on the needs of the organization, evolving business priorities or team structure."
