DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Workforce Planning Manager, the Scheduling and Data Quality Analyst is responsible for leading, planning, developing, implementing and evaluating four streams within the organization at large in Central Staffing and Scheduling Teams: (1) standardized scheduling processes, (2) training (inclusive of materials, delivery and reporting), (3) scheduling system support, requirements and configuration, and (4) workforce optimization (inclusive of workforce analytics and master rotation delivery).

This position is responsible for maintenance of scheduling processes including process maps/documents, training materials, KPI reports, process compliance reports, and other documentation owned by the Central Staffing and Scheduling Team. The position is also responsible for coordination with Labour Relations to ensure the Standard Interpretation Guide (SIG) remains current with changes to Collective Agreements, and for coordination with the IT department for any changes to the configuration of the scheduling system.

The Scheduling and Data Quality Analyst accountable for the performance results, leadership, organization and direction of Central Staffing and Scheduling Team Trainer/Sustainment Leads, Application Support Analysts, Workforce Analysts and Rotation Consultants.
The Scheduling and Data Quality Analytics acts as a subject matter expert in tasks related to Standards and Quality, and in staff scheduling processes. The position utilizes various processes and tools, such as Lean Six Sigma to analyze efficiencies.

Ensures all policy and process documentation associated with the Central Staffing and Scheduling Team is up-to-date and that policies and practices are being adhered to across the organization. Reviews all process and schedule rule complaints and issues received by Central Staffing Scheduling Team (CSST) and develops plan(s) to resolve as appropriate. This may include provision of formal additional learning, clarification of process steps, revising training materials to clarify or close gaps, or making recommendations to the Workforce Planning Director on standardized process revisions or system configuration changes as appropriate.
Works collaboratively with Labour Relations/Human Resources to ensure Collective Agreement changes or outcomes of arbitrations/rulings are incorporated in the Standard Interpretation Guide, providing clarity for the Scheduling Service when performing shift filling tasks.

Administers the Standards and Quality Council on behalf of the Chair (Workforce Planning Director) including agendas, meeting notes, and follow up on action items. Acts upon requests to change processes, system configuration, etc. by investigating the stakeholder impacts, completing the change request impact documentation, and leads activity to implement approved changes to processes and systems.


QUALIFICATIONS:

* Post-Secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline;
* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and 365 applications (Forms, Sharepoint, Teams, PowerApps, PowerBI), (required);
* Experience in general knowledge of multiple CA;
* Experience working with quality improvement, data analytics from multiple source in a hospital setting, preferred;
* * Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA) an asset;
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate task work in the delivery of technological solutions related to oversight, compliance and monitoring of performance;
* Healthcare experience an asset;
* Ability to work between all Lakeridge Health sites;
* Ability to time manage various demands in a dynamic and fast paced work environment;
* Demonstrated superior communication skills both verbal and written;
* Exceptional analytical and organizational skills;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

* Proven good attendance record with capability of maintaining this same standard;
* Other duties as assigned.
