Organization Development and Healthy Workplace SpecialistStatus: TFTFile Number: 2200003277Location: Lakeridge Health Oshawa (Remote and Hybrid Work Options Available)Wage Schedule: $33.966 - $42.447 per hourProgram: Organizational Development8 Hour Day Shifts (Subject to change)Reporting to the Organization Development & Healthy Workplace Manager the OD&HWP Specialist is a strategic partner in creating an effective organizational climate that supports the strategic directions by fostering health, wellbeing, productivity, and a psychologically healthy work environment. The OD&HWP Specialist must have strong skills in situational analysis and consultation, knowledge in culture building, facilitation strategies, performance management, adult education principles, and health promotion strategies.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:" Establish and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of key strategic priorities and ensure outcomes are successfully achieved;" Consult, coach, and liaise with client groups to support their analysis of data and implementation of support solutions;" Engage with units, leaders, and staff to proactively assess their workplace wellness/psychological health needs, in response to incidents to provide appropriate support and to ensure effective engagement strategies;" Responsible for organizing, facilitating delivering, and evaluating workshops and programs in all areas of organization development and healthy workplace;" Serve as an internal knowledge resource for instructional design, facilitation, leadership and management development, learning effectiveness, and other organizational development methodologies and tools; " Primary lead for designing, organizing, promoting, and leading large scale corporate events;" Promotion of OD&HWP Program initiatives, including creation and maintenance of Intranet pages;" Support the OD&HWP Team with ongoing project management, training and development needs, maintenance of programming as implemented, Team Engagement Survey, performance management, and other OD&HWP initiatives;" Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:" Baccalaureate degree, college diploma or recognized equivalent in the field of Adult Education, Organization Development, Health Promotion, Workplace Wellness, or a related field;" Additional related certificates (i.e. fitness, mindfulness, mental health first aid, Crucial Conversations facilitator) are considered assets" 3-5 years experience in performing needs assessments, stakeholder consultation, and designing, developing, and delivering problem focused training solutions" Proficient in Windows & Microsoft Office Suite Package with superior skills in in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook programs" Knowledge and experience of e-learning software (i.e. Articulate) and online marketing/promotional creation tools considered an asset.
