ONALAKERIDGE HEALTH REGISTERED NURSE AMBULATORY CLINICSDURHAM REGIONAL CANCER CENTREREGULAR PART TIMEDays ; 8 hour shifts (subject to change)Lakeridge Health OshawaSalary: $34.24 - $49.02ONA - 2200004379DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:As a member of the multidisciplinary team, you will use the nursing process to assist with the development and implementation of a plan of care for patients receiving treatment in the Durham Regional Cancer Centre. As a nurse in the Ambulatory Clinics/DRCC Brachytherapy PACU, you will demonstrate professionalism and maintain competence in all aspects of patient care. You will maintain nursing records and perform other related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:" Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (in good standing);" B.Sc.N is preferred;" Current B.C.L.S;" Must have IV start certification, " Recent experience in Oncology Nursing (i.e. on an acute oncology floor, or ambulatory oncology clinic within the past 3 years) is an asset;" Membership in RNAO, ONS/CANO is an asset;" Completion of de Souza Institute Foundations in Oncology Nursing Practice course or equivalent required.
