Non-UnionCENTRAL STAFFING & SCHEDULING TEAM (CSST) ASSOCIATE **X2**PATIENT FLOW TEMPORARY FULL TIME8 Hour shiftsDay, Evening and Weekend Schedule; (Subject to Change) Site: Lakeridge Health OshawaSALARY: $29.836 - $34.426 per hourUNEX-2100004494.4495JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Supervisor, Central Staffing & Scheduling Team, the CSST Associate will work to review/document processes with the CSST office to create an optimized operations. This role will also provide technical support for CSST technology, excel issues with the schedule and will work closely with department Managers to ensure schedules reflect appropriate staffing levels and skill sets.QUALIFICATIONS * Completion of a diploma in business/health administration, or a related discipline and or equivalent experience* Minimum 2 years recent experience in a staff scheduling role for a complex organization within an union environment* Understanding of Collective Agreements and scheduling rules in a hospital environment.* Excellent computer skills and proven communication and problem-solving skills.* Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel* Good interpersonal and organizational skills, excellent time management skills.* Demonstrated ability to work as a team member. * Excellent interpersonal skills * Must be capable of dealing with conflict in a calm and efficient manner, sometimes in stressful situations.* Computer literacy in a Windows environment utilizing Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.* Ability to prioritize duties and meet goals. * Demonstrated ability to work independently and use good judgement.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;* Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy;* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices, including staff safety, patient safety, environmental safety and participates in regular in-service education in this area;CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with Lakeridge Health's policies and procedures.Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the recruitment and assessment process in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) .
