In this position you will have the opportunity to use your extensive knowledge and expertise to help us develop, implement and maintain innovative Laboratory Department practices that will meet the current and future needs of Lakeridge Health.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performing routine and specialized test procedures in Chemistry, Hematology and Transfusion Medicine; performing pre-analytical procedures including phlebotomy, specimen management and ECGs; organizing workflow to maintain performance standards of quantity and quality; observing, troubleshooting and reporting problems with methods, equipment etc. to his/her supervisor; ensuring cleanliness of equipment and immediate work area; following established safety and infection control procedures; participating in student/staff training programs, as required; and performing other duties as assigned.
