Collaboratively with the Manager of Quality Programs, you will design, create and maintain an electronic workflow for the processing of Ambulance Call Report (ACR) data through the ACR review program; generate and maintain regular reporting package for the ACR review process; produce programming to design and code applications used to increase productivity, including but not limited to: algorithms used to determine protocol deviations by paramedics, semi-automated emails initiated in Outlook notifying paramedics if protocol deviations are found and transfers data from multiple sources to a single location; informs the Quality Program staff and Call-Reviewers of any changes made to programming and provides instructions or demonstrations on the use of new programming while maintaining version control; correlates data producing true number of procedures/full career path profiles performed by paramedics to include validation protocol for eliminating errors; collaborate with Office Manager for strategy to improve efficiencies of data management tools/applications related to routine administrative functions including scheduling of participants within education courses delivered by CEPCP; performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:* Degree in computer related field or equivalent education and/or related experience within a healthcare environment; * Proven technical competence with troubleshooting/analyzing software/processes; * Expert knowledge of statistical methodologies, technology-enabled design and learning methods;* Advanced proficiency in developing techniques and tools for VB, Linux Programming, Microsoft Access, SQL and web applications;* Effective project management and detail orientated skills;* Excellent writing skills with creativity for converting content to modules;* Proven ability to work independently and as a strong team member with excellent interpersonal skills;* Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills;* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff, patient and environmental safety with participation in regular in-service education sessions;* Must provide a positive Canadian Police Information Centre Criminal Record Synopsis (CPIC check)SALARY: $36.952 - $41.508 per hourCONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:This position is open to all qualified staff throughout Lakeridge Health.The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with Lakeridge Health's policies and procedures.Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the recruitment and assessment process as required under Lakeridge Health's Employment Accommodation policy.
