Non-UnionSenior Project Lead - Regional Nephrology Status: Temporary Part Time (2 to 3 days per week for 1 year)File Number: 1500000785Location: Lakeridge Health Oshawa and WhitbyWage Schedule: $43.80 - $47.72 per hour base (in lieu of benefits and vacation not included in base)Program: Regional Nephrology Program DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:The Senior Project Lead, Regional Nephrology, will join the Program's leadership team, reporting directly to the Director, Regional Nephrology/Diabetes and Regional Director, Ontario Renal Network, Central East. The position will lead key projects identified as priorities in the Ontario Renal Plan II. In this capacity, the candidate will also support the Director during the secondment role as Regional Director with the Ontario Renal Network to achieve the Ontario Renal Plan's strategic objectives and initiatives across the CE LHIN. The Senior Project Lead will support initiatives through the Regional Director's office, with both the Directors of the Regional Renal Programs: The Scarborough Hospital and Peterborough Regional Health Centre (for example, assist in leading the standardized approach for the creation of the Emergency Management Program for Renal) through the work of the Regional Renal Steering Committee. The Senior Project Lead will hold a lead role primarily at the LH Oshawa site working with the Nephrology Clinics (kidney care clinic, home hemodialysis, home peritoneal dialysis), and Ambulatory Hemodialysis in collaboration with the current Managers and Specialist of these areas. The Senior Project Lead will be responsible for: managing the budget associated with the key projects, determining budget requirements in collaboration with the Director, creating project plans/charters, and stakeholder engagement processes that facilitate the successful implementation of the identified projects/strategic objectives and initiatives. The Senior Project Lead will ensure appropriate plans, resources, and systems are in place to ensure the program meets the strategic initiatives of the Ontario Renal Network, through the work outlined in the Ontario Renal Plan II.
