Non-UnionFile #: UN.EX. - 1400000830Position: Senior Payroll RepresentativeStatus: Full TimeLocation: Lakeridge Health BowmanvilleProgram: PayrollSalary: $25.751 - $30.746Working under the direction of the Payroll Manager, the Senior Payroll Representative will participate in the processing of bi-weekly computerized payroll for 3, 800 unionized and non-unionized employees and maintain employee files for all Lakeridge Health employees in accordance with corporate polices an collective agreements. This position will review time and attendance information for abnormalities and exceptions as they relate to pay, participate in processing pay related documentation received from Human Resources and process in a timely manner for appropriate pay date, and respond to Payroll inquiries from employees. The Senior Payroll Representative will also be responsible for making sure all statutory payments are made to the appropriate third party and ensuring payments made in a timely manner to avoid any and all penalties. Qualifications:" Minimum 3-5 years of payroll experience " Diploma in Business or Finance or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience" Proven experience with payroll administration in a fully computerized environment - preferably in a healthcare environment" Canadian Payroll Association, completion or working towards Payroll Compliance Practitioner (preferred)" Experience working with defined pension plans" Working knowledge of pay calculations including applicable CRA source deductions" Experience working with multiple calculations for different types of payments due to different collective agreements including a non-union group."
