Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, the primary responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Assistant includes:" Scheduling, coordinating and confirming interviews, including balancing calendars for interview panels and booking meeting rooms;" Scheduling and proctoring pre-employment testing;" Completing references for external applicants;" Assisting employees and external applicants with the applicant tracking system (eRecruit), including resetting passwords;" Participating in various recruitment related projects to enhance service delivery;" Posting positions on external recruitment sites;" Assisting with pre-screening applicants as required;" Participating the coordination of recruitment related activities and events as required;" Providing administrative and clerical support.QUALIFICATIONS" Post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management or equivalent combination of education and experience;" Human Resources experience in healthcare is an asset;" Superior customer service skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills;" Excellent time-management skills with strong ability to prioritize, organize, and complete assignments in a manner that meets service timelines and optimizes departmental effectiveness;" Proven ability to assess inquiries and exercise good judgment in making the appropriate referrals;" Proven self-starter with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills;" Proven ability to multi-task and work productively and independently with frequent interruptions;" Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail" Proven ability to function as a supportive team member" Proven ability to adhere to a high standard of confidentiality;" Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint (tested);" Experience with an HRIS is considered an asset;" Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy;" Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff safety, patient safety and environmental safety and participation in regular in-service education sessions, and;" Proven good attendance record with capability of maintaining this same standard.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with Lakeridge Health's policies and procedures.Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the recruitment and assessment process in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
