Non-UnionLAKERIDGE HEALTHPHARMACY MANAGERCORPORATE PHARMACY SERVICESFULL TIMEDAYS/EVENINGS/WEEKENDS/ON-CALL SHIFTS; 8 HOUR SHIFTS (Subject to change)SALARY: $51.489 - $64.36 per hourUN.EX.- 2100000737DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the management of daily operations in the Pharmacy department (e.g., drug distribution, medication management, narcotic and controlled substance, centralized intravenous additive program, human resources). While working collaboratively with all members of the Pharmacy leadership team and with all members of the health care teams, the Pharmacy Manager will use their effective planning, budgeting and problem solving skills, to ensure: the development of department processes, the management of staff, the achievement of business goals including increased operational efficiencies and optimizing interdisciplinary team functioning, the adherence to legislation and professional standards, and the maintenance of high quality care.QUALIFICATIONS:* Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent entry-to-practice degree);* Current registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists;* Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy hospital practice with supervisory, management, or leadership experience;* Advanced Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D) from a recognized university, an asset;* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, leadership skills, project management skills;* Excellent change management, organizational planning, assessment and evaluation skills;* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with health care professionals;* Demonstrated ability to lead effectively and create a high-performance culture through management strategies that facilitates growth and development;* Demonstrated knowledge of hospital functions and current trends in health care;* Demonstrated ability to manage a unionized environment;* Proven conflict management/resolution skills;* Proven ability to critically analyze and problem-solve;* Understanding of Accreditation Canada and Ontario College of Pharmacists Hospital Inspection standards and processes; * Experience with budgets and monitoring costs associated with pharmaceutical projections and utilization;* Must have a satisfactory performance record;* Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy;* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff, patient and environmental safety and participation in regular in-services in this area; and;* Proven good attendance record with capability of maintaining this same standardCONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Hospital and the Ontario Nurses Association (RN Bargaining Unit Local 051).Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the recruitment and assessment process in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
